I. Necula, I. Urecheatu

Abstract: Cooperation between the forensic medicine doctor and the field forensic for the identification of the missing persons, unknown dead bodies and the using of the data through the CDN system. Missing persons and unknown dead bodies identification represent a major task of the forensic activities for moral and justice reasons. The cooperation between the forensic medicine doctor and the field forensic it is indispensable for this task. In cases of natural desasters or terorist acts with a great number of victims, this cooperation is imperious necesary because even the identification is a police task, the police could not fulfill this task without forensic medicine doctors. OIPC has elaborated some rules wich are used in case of natural desasters or terorist acts with a great number of victims, with AM and PM formulars wich contains specific data regarding every victim (clothes, particular signs, medical records, etc.). The Romanian Police uses a data base, CDN (automated system for examining anatomical, functional and particular signs, fotographs of the missing persons and unknown dead bodies) elaborated by his experts, very useful for this purpose.
