IMPACT OF THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM ON THE LEVEL OF INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN THIS FIELD

S. M. (Grigore)

Abstract: The public authority responsible for health insurance, as a central authority in the field of public health, tried to identify the key factors in meeting the objective “Development of the public health system at national, regional and local level by streamlining the surveillance and control of communicable diseases” and the impact of environment on population health, as well as the development of strategies and participation in population health education.
In this context, it is necessary to identify health challenges, especially legislative changes that have led to reforms in health infrastructure, procurement of health materials, medicines, medical devices and equipment, as well as the unitary approach to strategic areas in implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the National Health Strategy for the period 2014-2020.
Comparing hospital services in European Union member states, they have common features, but in some cases have different features. Romania, by improving the health system, tries a new approach in the sense of orienting patients to outpatient clinics, implementing hospital infrastructure through the quality and efficiency of medical services, as well as improving the management and financial sustainability of hospitals.
Keywords: health system, health insurance, health expenditure, health, medical services, infrastructure, health services, public health care, good practice, development, European Union.
